Looking for a great place to volunteer?

If you can spare an hour or more on a weekly basis, we would love to add you to our team! Anyone over the age of 12 may complete a Volunteer Application. Volunteers work in several departments of the library including circulation, technical services, outreach/marketing, and facility projects. For more information on volunteering at the library, read our Volunteer and Community Service Policy.

The Westmont Public Library is looking for teens in grades 6 – 12 to help librarians prepare for programs, find books, clean, and perform other general tasks in the fall. A teen is considered a 6th grader starting in the summer before they start middle school.

Each volunteer will be assigned a set shift, which will cover the same 2 hour time slot every week until their required hours are completed. Due to high demand, if a volunteer is not required to complete service hours for school or another organization, hours may be limited by staff to accommodate as many volunteers as possible.

If you’re interested in being a teen volunteer, please fill out an application here!
