We are quickly approaching the time of year that can create fear in the heart and minds of many parents as their children enthusiastically select their science fair topics and begin their projects. There are so many possibilities and decisions. Every year the concepts seem more and more creative and extensive.
If a topic has yet to be chosen, stop by the Youth Services Department and pick up one of our science fair books. They range in focus fromMythbusters: Confirm or Bust! book filled with project ideas. Most of our science fair books are located in J507.8 for easy browsing if you just want see what kind of projects you can do.
If you have already chosen your topic, we can help you with your research. We are happy to help you find information to back up your findings and conclusions. We can help you track down the information you need in print or online. Also remember that if the book you want is checked out or if we don’t carry it, we can try to bring it in from another library. It will take a few days to get here so the key is not to wait until the last minute.
