The short stories give beginning readers a quick sense of accomplishment and the silly, simple drawings add a little humor. Starting with the first book in set 1, with just 22 words and 8 pages, a child with basic knowledge of letter names and sounds will be quickly reading their first book all by themselves. What a feeling of success and empowerment that can provide!
These books are sized just right for little hands and circulate in boxed sets of 8-12 books. The sight words sets for kindergarten and first grade also include flash cards for extra practice.
