I recently attended the Anderson’s Bookstore Children’s Literature Breakfast where I was privileged to hear authors like Henry Winkler, Lin Oliver, and Maggie Stiefvater speak about the new series and projects they are working on.

Dyslexie,  developed specifically to aid people with dyslexia.  Because the title character in Here’s Hank is dyslexic, just like Winkler, publishing the books in this font is a decision that makes complete sense.

on-line component in which readers can participate in games in the world of Erdas. This computer world has been specifically created to enhance the enjoyment of readers of the series and to entice additional kids to read the books.

Whether it is listening to the audio books, reading in a new font, starting a new chapter book series, or exploring a new world on-line, learning can take many forms. I’m excited to see what comes next!
