Notary Public services
Westmont Public Library has limited notary services available by appointment, subject to notary availability. To have a document notarized, please make an appointment online. We are unable to take walk-ins.

Things to know before you book an appointment
- We cannot communicate with a notary patron through a translator.
- We are unable to notarize or certify the following:
- Real estate transaction documents
- Documents written in any language other than English
- Visa and immigration paperwork
- Documents from foreign governments
- Copies of identification or vital records
- I-9 employment verification forms
- We reserve the right to decline to notarize any document.
- We reserve the right to cancel no-show appointments after 15 minutes.
What to bring to your appointment
- A valid, unexpired photo ID with signature, issued by a US state or federal government
- Completed, unsigned documents. Documents must be signed in front of a Notary. Notaries may not notarize a document with any blank spaces.
- Witnesses, if required. We cannot provide witnesses for you, and library patrons may not be solicited to act as witnesses.
- $1 fee per notary stamp
