Vance Joy: Dream Your Life Away
If you are like me and you have heard the hit single “Riptide” a hundred times and you still love it, you have GOT to listen to the rest of the album.
Hozier: Hozier
This self-titled album by the band Hozier is worth a listen. Many of the songs are more upbeat than their hit “Take Me to Church,” which surprised me. With an almost 1950s vibe on several of their songs, this band has a unique sound for a modern audience.
Sam Smith: In the Lonely Hour
His voice is phenomenal and his music has soul. His first hit “Stay with Me” and the follow up success of “I’m Not the Only One” are just two gems on this incredible first effort by new recording artist Sam Smith.
