Need to contact the Library while the building is closed?
Librarians are available for live chat Monday – Saturday, 10 – 5 pm. We’re also checking emails and voicemails regularly. Contact info is available here.

Request an Item

Request an item online and we will contact you when it is ready to be picked up!

  1. Once you find the item you would like to request in the SWAN Catalog, click the Place Hold button.
  2. Enter your library barcode number and your PIN (if you have forgotten your PIN either click Forgot my PIN or contact us at 630 969 5625 ext. 4).
  3. Click Log In.
  4. Confirm the title, format and email address of the hold and then click Place Hold.
  5. We will text, email or call you when the item you requested is ready to be picked up at the Westmont Public Library depending on your hold notification preference. We will hold the item for 7 days.
