Due to the rising numbers of COVID cases in DuPage and surrounding areas, and following the guidance of IDPH and other agencies, the Westmont Public Library has returned to curbside service as of Friday, November 20.
The building closure is intended to help slow the spread of the virus and keep our community and staff safe and healthy.
Library material may be picked up via curbside service, virtual programs will be offered via our online platforms, and computer appointments will be available to Westmont residents.
Available Library Services:
Request items and pick them up in the Library parking lot when they’re ready.
Find the latest Curbside Pickup hours and information here.
The computer lab is open to Westmont residents for one-hour sessions. We encourage you to make an appointment in advance by calling 630 869 6155.
No staff assistance will be available, and masks must be worn at all times.
Book drops are open for returning Library materials.
Per state library guidelines, we’re quarantining items once they are returned to the Library. Due to the quarantine, items will remain on patron accounts for 3 days after they are returned.
No late fees are assessed for items checked out from Westmont Public Library.
We’re sharing virtual programs—both live and recorded—and take-home kits created by our librarians. To find out what’s coming up, visit our event calendar. Recorded video programs can also be enjoyed on demand on our YouTube channel.
