COVID-19 and Westmont Public Library

The Library takes community health seriously. We are actively monitoring COVID-19 (coronavirus) news and taking into consideration the latest recommendations from public health experts. We will communicate any changes via our website and social media accounts.

Update: May 4Our bookdrops are open for returns.

Please feel free to return materials to the Library at this time. Per CDC guidelines, we’re quarantining items once they are returned to the Library. Due to the quarantine, items will remain on patron accounts for 7 days after they are returned.

The good news is no late fines will be accrued, and due dates for all items have been extended through June 3.

Starting March 13 at 5 pm, the Library is closed until further notice.

The Westmont Public Library will hold its regular meeting of the Board of Trustees on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. via remote access.

Members of the public can access the remote meeting. Access information will be provided here as soon as it is available.

Members of the public can share comments by joining the webinar and submitting comments via the online platform, or by submitting comments in advance by sending them to [email protected]. Comments will be read aloud and entered into the public record.

As a reminder, the Library has many digital services available to you from home, such as e-books, e-audiobooks, and e-comics; streaming TV and movie services; music services; and digital subscriptions to magazines.
