Volunteer

Looking for a great place to volunteer?

If you can spare an hour or more on a weekly basis, we would love to add you to our team! Anyone over the age of 12 may download a Volunteer Application online or fill one out in the  library. For more information on volunteering at the library, read our Volunteer Policy. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Marilyn Miklos at 630.969.5625 ext. 301 for more information.

Are you a teen looking to earn service hours or just make a difference in your community?

We are looking for teen volunteers to help with our summer reading program! Teens entering grades 7-12 may sign up to help with our youth programs, work at the summer read desk, or as a book buddy listening to younger children read. TeenTeam volunteers are required to work a minimum of 10 hours throughout the summer. Our TeenTeam volunteer coordinator may assign additional hours to those who make themselves available. Pick up an application for teen volunteer service at the library or download it here.  Everyone who volunteers will get a free t-shirt!

Contact our TeenTeam coordinator, Jack Schultz at jschultz@westmontlibrary.org or 630.969.5625 ext. 314 for more information.
