Latino Americans: 500 Years of History

The Westmont Public Library was selected to receive a Latino Americans: 500 Years of History grant to foster discussion about Latino history and culture in the United States. The library has also received the six-part documentary film Latino Americans, created for PBS by the WETA public television station. The award-winning series chronicles the history of Latinos in the United States from the 16th century to present day. Learn more about the series at pbs.org/latino-americans.


La Biblioteca Pública de Westmont fue seleccionada para recibir un subsidio para fomentar los diálogos sobre la historia y cultura latina. Así mismo la biblioteca recibió las seis partes del documental Latino Americans, creado por PBS para la estación de televisión pública WETA.
