What is a “green screen?” Well it is exactly what it sounds like, a screen that is the color green! When people refer to using a green screen they are often referring to the to the process used by photographers and videographers known as Chroma Keying. Chroma Keying is essentially identifying a specific color element (chroma) and replacing that color with a scene with a different element (keying.) Chroma Keying has been used in everything from huge Hollywood blockbusters to small town weather reporting.
